At Tama Zoo, it was confirmed on the morning of Saturday, October 22, 2022, that three Serval (1 male and 2 females) had been born inside a nest box.

Her mother is "Aki" (born April 23, 2017 at Belgrade Zoo, arrived at our zoo November 18, 2020), and her father is "Apollo" (born September 28, 2015 at our zoo).

Aki arrived at our zoo in November 2020 from an animal adoption facility in Slovakia, and we have been working on pairing her with Apollo. She had a stillbirth in March 2022, and this is her second litter. This is her first time raising offspring, but she is calm.

　The decision regarding public viewing is still undecided, as it will be made based on the mother and cubs' condition. We will announce the decision on Tama Zoo official website as soon as it is made. From December 8, 2022 (Thursday), the three cubs and Aki have been on public viewing.
