Two Tsushima Leopard Cat leopard cats will be visiting the park.

Inokashira Park Zoo has been raising Tsushima Leopard Cat Tsushima Leopard Cat since 2006, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment's project to breed them in captivity.

Tsushima Leopard Cat cats have their breeding season from winter to spring, and with this in mind, the Ministry of the Environment will be moving individuals across Japan between breeding facilities.

Inokashira Park Zoo will receive one male Tsushima leopard cat from Kujukushima Zoological and Botanical Gardens in Nagasaki Prefecture and one female from Higashiyama Zoological and Inokashira Park Zoo Tsushima Leopard Cat have two male and two female Tsushima leopard cats.

Date of birth unknown (rescued on August 6, 2010, in Toyotama-cho, Tsushima City), age 10 years or older.
Scheduled acceptance date: November 5, 2019 (Tuesday)
*Based on the breeding plan, there is a possibility that the animals may be moved to another facility after arriving at Inokashira Park Zoo.
