Inokashira Park Zoo has been raising Tsushima Leopard Cat Tsushima Leopard Cat since 2006, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment's conservation and breeding program for the Tsushima leopard cat. "Momo" arrived at the zoo on November 15, 2019, from Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya. She was the oldest Tsushima Leopard Cat cat currently being kept at the zoo.

We had always made efforts to manage its health, but in December 2024, its physical strength declined, and its gait became unstable, indicating a weakening of its bodily functions. We continued to treat and care for it indoors, but we confirmed its death on the morning of January 7, 2025.
