On November 8, 2021, a Japanese serow named "Suzuna" (female) arrived at the zoo from Japanese Serow Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Nagoya City.

Inokashira Park Zoo had been keeping one male and one female Japanese Serow until 2019, but the female died on September 25, 2019, and since then, the zoo has been keeping only the male, "Mumu." Going forward, they will be working towards breeding a new pair.

It is currently undergoing quarantine in the back area. Please look forward to the day it is released!
