Tokyo Sea Life Park will be closed for the New Year holidays from December 29th, 2019 (Sunday) to January 1st, 2020 (Wednesday/National Holiday). It will reopen on January 2nd, 2020 (Thursday) and will hold the "Aquarium New Year 2020" event.
We will be holding various events, so please come and join us!

1. "New Year's Aquarium Raffle" to be held!!

As is customary every year, we will be holding our "New Year's Aquarium Raffle" for the New Year of 2020.
The prizes for the raffle include unique aquarium-themed items such as a special tour that gives you a glimpse behind the scenes of animal care and original aquarium merchandise. Try your luck this New Year!

2. "Pay Attention to the Sea Rats! Quiz Rally" is being held!!

We're holding a quiz rally themed around the Year of the Rat, 2020. Grab your quiz sheet, wander around the park, observe the animals, and try your luck with the quizzes. You're sure to make lots of interesting discoveries!
Those who reach the finish line will receive a special souvenir that can only be obtained here!

Date and time: Thursday, January 2, 2020, Friday, January 3, 2020, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
place Distribution location: Main building, 2nd floor, in front of the escalator
Finish line location: In front of the gift shop on the 2nd floor of the main building (Registration for the finish line opens at 11:00 AM)
Number of distributions Limited to the first 1,500 people each day. *Distribution of quiz sheets will end once supplies run out (final distribution is at 4 PM).

3. "Pen-chan" and "Gan-chan" will welcome you.

Pen-chan Humboldt Penguin and Gan-chan Southern Rockhopper Penguin send you New Year's greetings! director will also be there to welcome you on January 2nd. How about taking a commemorative photo with them? We look forward to seeing you!

4. I'll bring out the broth!

We'll be serving tuna broth to the first 500 people. Why not take a moment to relax on a cold day and enjoy the flavor of tuna? We'll also be distributing original "broth cards" introducing creatures commonly used to make broth.

5. New Year's First Performance! Taiko Drumming from Edogawa Ward

Why not start 2020 with the exhilarating sound of taiko drums? The performance will be by taiko drummers based in Edogawa Ward. They will showcase the results of their daily practice and deliver the finest taiko sound. Children who listen to the performance will have the opportunity to try playing the drums themselves. Don't miss it!!

6. Gifts from the gift shop

Customers who purchase items at the park's gift shop will receive a special "Zodiac Pin Badge" (not for sale) as a gift.

7. A gift of disposable hand warmers.

We will be giving away disposable hand warmers to all visitors.

10. Annual Crested Ibis

At gift shops, restaurants, and food shops within Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos and Aquariums (including ours), Customers who present an annual pass We will give you a 5% discount on your total bill.

Period: January 2nd (Thu) to January 31st (Fri), 2020 (excluding park closing days).
