Tokyo Sea Life Park will be closed for the New Year holidays from December 29th (Saturday) to January 1st (Tuesday, public holiday). It will reopen on January 2nd (Wednesday), 2013.

The lion dance has long been known as a lucky charm to ward off disease. It is said that if you are bitten by the lion, you will enjoy good health for the year. Pray for good health in 2013 at Tokyo Sea Life Park.

The lion dances to the accompaniment of lively festival music.
This performance is by the Imai Kasai Hayashi group.

Our zoo's idols, Pen-chan Humboldt Penguin and Gan-chan the Rockhopper penguin (in costume), send you New Year's greetings! Please take a commemorative photo with Pen-chan and Gan-chan.
