Based on the concept of being a "place for interaction between the sea and people," Tokyo Sea Life Park has been engaged in conservation activities that "convey" the charm and current state of marine life, and "protect and nurture" the environment that includes them. It will celebrate its 35th anniversary on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

This year, marking our 35th anniversary since opening, we will reflect on our journey so far and consider the future of the aquarium, looking ahead to the facility scheduled to open in 2028. We have always strived, and will continue to strive, to exhibit creatures from diverse marine areas and environments, and to create opportunities for people to connect with the sea. We will also continue our efforts to expand initiatives to protect the richness of the ocean together with everyone.

To celebrate our 35th anniversary, we will be holding various events throughout the year. We hope you will come and visit us. Details of the events will be announced on Tokyo Sea Life Park official website and official X (formerly Twitter).

35th Anniversary Special guided tour

We will be conducting special guided tour that explore the aquarium's history from various angles, including animal care and exhibits, as well as educational outreach.

　Date and Time: Every third Sunday of the month from April 2024 to March 2025 (excluding August and October)
Registration: 12:20 PM, guided tour begins: 12:30 PM (Duration: approximately 45 minutes)

Registration will begin 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.

35th Anniversary Embossed Stamp

We will be providing free embossed stamps and backing cards featuring the 35th anniversary logo. The stamped cards can be used as bookmarks.

35th Anniversary Project ~The Dreams of Aquarium Leaders~

Aquariums have various departments, such as animal care and exhibition staff, and education and outreach staff. In this project, the leaders of each department will share their thoughts on themes such as "the ideal exhibit and aquarium" and "what they want to do and their dreams for the future" on Tokyo Sea Life Park official website. What kind of dreams do these leaders have? It's a must-see.

We will be giving away blueberry and olive saplings free of charge within the orchard.

Exchange tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis from 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM.

35th Anniversary Project: Kasarin Coloring Book ~Let's Color the Creatures of the Coral Reef!~※Ended

We will be holding an event where you can enjoy coloring pages featuring creatures from the aquarium. You can enjoy coloring the corals and fish that are on display in the "Coral Reef Sea" tank.
