Tokyo Sea Life Park is currently working on cultivating Japanese corals in its "Coral Reef Sea" tank. These corals will continue to be on display at the new aquarium, which is scheduled to reopen in 2028.
As part of
the "Coral Project" * for the opening of the new aquarium, we will be holding a
"Let's Make Coral Seedlings" event. At the event, participants will make coral seedlings that will be displayed in the new aquarium, and will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the tanks where corals are currently displayed. Come and learn with us what kind of creatures corals are and how they grow.

Date and time: Sunday, November 30, 202510:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Lecture Room and other areas on the 2nd floor of the main building.
Capacity: 20 pairs (40 people) *Advance registration required
This program is for one child in grades 2 through 4 of elementary school and one parent/guardian (parent/guardian must accompany the child/guardian).
One parent/guardian can learn about the ecology of coral reefs together with their child in the lecture room at the venue, but due to the limited number of corals and space, they will not be able to participate in coral seedling cultivation or the behind-the-scenes tour of the aquariums (admission is free for participating children and one parent/guardian).
Children should
wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and that can get dirty.
