As part of the "Visit Hot Zoo 2013" campaign, we will be holding the "Winter Zoo and Aquarium Hot Photo Contest."​
We are accepting submissions of photos of the park grounds and animals taken at each zoo during the specified period. Winners will receive prizes.

* What is the "Visit Hot Zoo 2013" campaign?
This campaign brings together the comforting winter attractions ("comforting points") scattered throughout zoos and aquariums during the winter season, and aims to introduce them to a wider audience.
The word "hot" can mean warmth, liveliness, conversation, or a sense of peace and relaxation. Each nursery will introduce these attractive places as "Hot Points." In addition, each nursery will hold its own "Hot Event," and there will also be a joint stamp rally and photo contest held by all four nurseries!
During the event period, the park will be decorated with the key item, the "scarf," and the campaign will be further enlivened with limited-time original menus and merchandise.

Recruitment details　
We are accepting submissions of animal photos and park scenery taken at Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos and Aquariums (Ueno Zoo, Tama Zoo, Tokyo Sea Life Park, Inokashira Park Zoo) between January 10, 2013 and March 10, 2013.

*We will be accepting photos in two categories: Adults (junior high school age and older) and Children (elementary school age and younger).

Application period　
　Thursday, January 10, 2013 - Sunday, March 10, 2013
Until 24:00　

*Each person may only apply once.

How to apply
During the application period, Dedicated page for the "Winter Zoo and Aquarium Heartwarming Photo Contest" Please submit your work from here.
For the adult category (junior high school students and older), please submit a set of two "photo series" taken at multiple locations. For the children's category (elementary school students and younger), please submit one photo per person.
Please include a title and a brief comment when submitting your entry.

Precautions
・Only photographs taken at Tokyo Metropolitan Zoos and Aquariums during the period mentioned above will be accepted.
The copyright of submitted works belongs to the photographer. However, winning entries may be used on Tokyo Zoo Net, in flyers, newsletters, or at events. In addition, the photographer's name may be displayed when the works are used.
- If a person is pictured, we cannot be held responsible for any infringement of the subject's right to privacy or other rights.

Results Announcement
In the adult category, we will select one "Hot Award," four "director Awards," and five "Excellence Awards." In the children's category, we will select ten "Hot Kids Awards."
