A The aquarium is closed every Wednesday (Thursday if Wednesday is a national holiday or falls on October 10), as well as during the year-end/New Year's holiday (December 29 to January 1). Please check the calendar on the website.

A The facility opens at 9:30, and closes at 17:00 (tickets sold until 16:00).

A Admission is 700 yen for adults, 250 yen for junior high school students not living or attending school in Tokyo, and 350 yen for seniors aged 65 or older. Admission is free for children of elementary-school age or younger and for junior high school students living or attending school in Tokyo.

A The group discount applies to groups of 20 or more paying individuals.

A If you need to reenter, please tell a staff member at the entrance.

A Dogs, cats, and other pets cannot enter. Seeing-eye dogs, hearing-assistance dogs, and other service dogs are permitted to enter.

Facilities

A Free wheelchair rentals are available at the Main Gate, the ticket sales gate, and the information counter inside the Main Building. Please return wheelchairs to one of the rental locations when you are done. Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.

A There are two nursing rooms, one inside the rest facilities next to the Main Gate and one inside the Main Building. Please ask at the information counter to use the one in the Main Building.

A Smoking is prohibited throughout the premises.

A All restrooms have accessible facilities except for those inside the Freshwater Life building.

A Yes, next to the accessible restroom at the ticket sales gate.

A Please use the restaurant after notifying a staff member.

A There are gift shops on the second floor of the Main Building and next to the Main Gate.

A Baby stroller rentals are not available.
