A The zoo is closed every Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday or falls on October 10), as well as during the year-end/New Year's holiday (December 29 to January 1). Please check the calendar on the website.

A The facility opens at 9:30, and closes at 17:00 (tickets sold until 16:00).

A Admission is 400 yen for adults, 150 yen for junior high school students not living or attending school in Tokyo, and 200 yen for seniors aged 65 or older. Admission is free for children of elementary-school age or younger and for junior high school students living or attending school in Tokyo.

A The group discount applies to groups of 20 or more paying individuals.

A We are sorry, but we cannot.

A If you need to reenter, please tell a staff member at the entrance.

A Dogs, cats, and other pets cannot enter. Seeing-eye dogs, hearing-assistance dogs, and other service dogs are permitted to enter.

Facilities

A Free wheelchair rentals are available at the administration office next to the Main Gate in the Zoo Area (Main Park), and at the Benten Gate and Nanai Gate in the Aquatic Life Park (Lakeside Park). Please return wheelchairs to one of the gates when you are done. Availability is on a first-come-first-served basis.

A There is a nursing room inside the administration office next to the Main Gate.

A Smoking is prohibited throughout the premises.

A There are five in the Zoo Area (Main Park) and two in the Aquatic Life Park (Lakeside Park).

A Yes, inside the Zoo Area (Main Park).

A Please use the picnic tables and benches, etc. on the premises.

A There is a gift shop next to the Main Gate to the Zoo Area (Main Park). You must purchase an admission ticket.

A The Zoo Area (Main Park) has only one exit at the Main Gate. The Aquatic Life Park (Lakeside Park) has two, one at the Nanai Gate and one at the Benten Gate.

A Baby stroller rentals are not available.

A "au Wi-Fi Spot," "Wi2 300," "SoftBank Wi-Fi Spot," and "FREE Wi-Fi & TOKYO" are available in limited areas. Please ask a staff member for details.

Information about the Surrounding Area

A There is no parking lot on the premises. Please use one of the toll parking lots nearby.

A We cannot treat injuries as we are not a medical institution. However, first-aid kits are stocked. Please contact a staff member.

A It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. Just the Zoo Area (Main Park) takes about 1 hour, and just the Aquatic Life Park (Lakeside Park) takes about 30 minutes.

A Flash photography of the animals is prohibited. Photographing the indoor exhibits such as sculptures is also prohibited.

A It is recommended that you go through the Zoo Area (Main Park) counterclockwise by proceeding to the right from the Main Gate.
