 Social Stories

I want to know more

We have created a "social story" for those of you using the guinea pig program at Ueno Zoo for the first time, specifically for school groups (special needs schools/classes and kindergartens/preschools).

This page provides information about guinea pigs, including procedures and precautions to take when interacting with them, so that you can enjoy the program with peace of mind.

*Social Stories are primarily a tool to support individuals with developmental disabilities (especially autism spectrum disorder) and their families and related parties, but the content can be used by anyone, including young children and other individuals with disabilities. You can also find it in PDF format at the following link.
